Track Component Video Inspection System
DMA’s Video Inspection System (TCVIS) provides a wide range of track video inspections without endangering your crew.
DMA’s Track Component Video Inspection System (TCVIS) is a linear scanner that uses high-speed cameras and LED illumination system to take precise pictures of the rail surface and track components by non-contact imaging technology.
The Video Inspection System is composed by:
- Rail Top Video System
- Ballast-View Video System
- Rail Side Video System
The Video Inspection system replaces the need to walk the tracks or navigate crowded stations reducing the scope for human error in rail and track measurement and safeguarding crew and tracks.
It inspects the main infrastructure components:
- Top of the rail
- Fishplates / Joint bars
- Fasteners and clips
- Sleepers and Ballast
Linear Camera With Embedded Linux System
Specially designed by DMA, the linear camera features an embedded Linux system with image processors built into the FPGA performing real-time image compression. This distributes the computational power over the entire system. Plus, the light architecture and small number of PCs (typically one) increase system reliability and flexibility. It also eliminates the need for complex connections.
We are proud to have the longest and most proven experience in global Track Management solutions.
