The laser-based optical measure system by DMA for Clearance Profile (CPMS) is reliable and accurate.

DMA’s Clearance Profile Measurement System (CPMS) is based on a high-speed 360-degree rotating laser scanner. The system is a non-contact, laser-based optical clearance measurement system. It can be mounted at the end of any railway car or vehicle and is housed in a protective enclosure.

The sensor monitors the structural clearance, tunnels, platforms, adjacent tracks, and ballast profiles.

The profile measurement system compares both the structural gauge and the ballast profiles with targets or design profiles. Defect reports are generated in real-time and describe the defect in numerical and graphical form localizing on a geographical map.
